Through the Veil I tell you the Truth, I’m excited to tell you about a couple close friends of mine who are serving God and making an impact. David Myers and Chris Turley are part of a group called "Through the Veil." I've pasted an article below from Christianity Today's "Top Ten Independent Artists You Should Know." These guys have traveled the country this past summer, playing at some very large venues. If you like the sounds of Paul Coleman Trio, Mercy Me and Sonicflood, you'll love what God has gifted this band with. What I love most about Through the Veil is their purpose - which is not to entertain you, but to lead you into worshiping the God they love.
2 Corinthians 3 When
Moses was confronted with the glory of God, he radiated to the point
that he placed a veil over his head not only because the people could
not handle the full glory of God but because it began to fade from
within him. And while Moses
placed a physical veil over his head, he also created a spiritual veil
in his writings – a veil that remains today for those that do not
accept the Spirit of the Lord that is made evident in Jesus Christ. Today,
the world is still veiled from the truth of God’s Word.
The written word of God is readable, but not understandable to
those who are not in Christ. As
one who Christ dwells in, and we in Him, we are now possessors of that
that same radiance that Moses held.
The transformation that we go through in our walk with Jesus,
being made more like Him as God works through our lives, increases the
radiance. Unlike
Moses, however, the radiance that we contain is an increasing radiance
and not a diminishing one. As
we pass through the veil, we are the radiance of Christ.
We are His body, His hands, His feet. The
world lives in darkness. It’s
our purpose to bring the radiance to the world so that the Spirit might
live through us, unveiling others to the truth of Jesus Christ. Thank
you David, Chris and Randy for serving our God through the ministry of
music. We
should all continue to press on, unveiling the radiance of Jesus Christ
in our lives.

Randy and his wife were in an automobile accident over the weekend and both in critical condition. They have two young girls that attend my wife’s grade school – one in first grade, the other in fourth. We also have a church family, Fran and Denny West, whose son was killed in a plane crash on Friday. He leaves four small children and a wife behind. Please remember both families in such a tragic
